High Mountain Half Marathon & 5K
August 4, 2018
The Red River High Mountain Half Marathon and 5K is a beautiful, challenging, road race. The course follows the Red River into the area's Upper Valley and the runner is surrounded by high mountain peaks. The half and the 5K are both out and back courses with the challenging part the first half, so at the turn around you will have a gradual decline on the return. We include a pre-race runner's reception and a post race award ceremony and party for all of our runners. Half marathon runners earn a custom finisher's medal, and the first 150 registered participants will receive technical t-shirts. Overall and age group winners will receive beautiful custom medals.
The 6th Annual Red River High Mountain Half Marathon and 5K is a fabulous experience for both novice and seasoned runners and racers. The course is more beautiful than can be imagined and the race is a challenging experience that will leave you with a terrific sense of accomplishment.
