Enjoy relaxing dinner floats or exciting rapid rides down the Rio Grande River, including delicious picnics. You choose your adventure from mild to wild whitewater rafting trips. We've been providing Rio Grande rafting excitement to folks around the country and the world since 1983, and we hope you'll join us this season. We run the River from March through November! Large and small groups welcome. From 1-100 people.
Black mountain playhouse
"The Playhouse" has been a legend in Red River since 1948, when the roller skating rink opened. Today, it continues to serves guests near and far offering roller skating, billiards pool, video arcade games, indoor and out door putt-putt golf, five big screen TV's to watch the game, ping pong, darts, Foosball, and air-hockey! With the addition of the Black Diamond Grill, parents have the luxury of relaxing in the restaurant while the kids entertain themselves for hours.
Bobcat Pass Wilderness Adventures
Come join us at Bobcat Pass Wilderness Adventures for the ultimate in outdoor fun for the entire family. You can ride horseback or on ATVs and T-Rexs through the beautiful Carson National Forest back to the Old Red River Pass, a favorite of many. The views are spectacular and will leave you with fond family memories for years to come. Our summer season offers our famous chuckwagon dinner with live entertainment at its finest, and the best meal to be found anywhere around!
Fagan's Guided Fly Fishing
Jeff Fagan has over 40 years of knowledge and experience in the illustrious art of fly fishing. He is eager and excited to teach all who want to learn how to fly fish. He knows all the best fishing holes from here to Montana. His guidance and taching methods have people coming back every Summer for additonal lessons. Jeff runs his guiding services through Williams Trading Post so check his availability at the store.
Frye's Old Town
A great place to be a kid! Come enjoy "the store that does the gunfights" and harness your inner cowboy or indian. Frye's Old Town is a Red River tradition unlike any other that has spanned over 50 years. Join the tradition and make it your own on your next visit to Red River. Also, while you are visiting check out the beautiful collections of The Jewelry Lady located inside Frye's Old Town.
Lucky Shot Old Time Photos
We have been open for 2 summers now but have not yet found a permanent home. We are open on weekends during June and full time starting the 4th of July. So if you want the best souvenir of your visit to Red River or you just like dressing up...or you just want an instant portrait of the family. Come visit Lucky Shot Photo Parlor!
New Mexico Adventure Tours
New Mexico Adventure Tours in a part of Big Mountain Sports and offers scenic, guided tours through some of the most gorgeous country in the nation. Their seasoned tour guides have a wealth of information about the history of the land and its people. This is a great way to psend a saturday morning with the family. The tours are taken on customized trucks with seating for 6-8 in a renovated truck bed.
Red River Mountain Adventures

We offer adventure wedding ceremony and reception locations. Hidden Treasure Aerial Park, features 3 levels of excitement with elements provided every 25 feet. Red River Stables
Serving the outdoor enthusiast for over 30 years, Red River Stables, owned by Dirk and Kathy Neal, invites you to come ride the scenic Sangre de Cristo mountains of northern New Mexico the way it was done 100 years ago – on horseback! Rides are available for all levels from beginner to the most experienced riders. We offer a wide range of options from hourly rides to all day treks. You can combine your ride with fishing, hiking and wildlife viewing. We offer Spring Break & Fall rides, weather permitting.
