...Mardi Gras in the Mountains February 11-16...

WELCOME!
Red River is one of the best kept secrets of New Mexico. We have high mountain majesty, down-home friendly people, and the chance to let go, relax and enjoy your family. Visiting here is almost like stepping back in time to small town values and great customer service from people who are genuinely glad to see you. We have loads of activities available throughout all four of our distinct seasons. Escape the city, traffic and hassle, and experience the magic of a Red River vacation.

Come by the Chamber while you are here - we will be glad to see you! We are in Town Hall, just across from Brandenburg Park, right in the middle of town. We have free maps and info that will help make your trip a turn-key fun package.

Remember your first trip to Red River?
Hiking with family and friends. The wonder of the chairlift. Skipping rocks in the mountain stream. Some things just never change. Our charming mountain town is a year round destination for families, couples and friends who visit again and again. Red River is the perfect combination of relaxation and recreation, natural beauty and man-made fun, breathtaking mountains and unforgettable good times. It's called making memories, and it's what Red River was made for!
